A week ago, I was notified of the death of my beloved host mother, Lucette Rupp. She spent much of the last years of her life fighting and recovering from illness. She was a spunky lady, full of life and love for those around her, and I will miss her tremendously.

Lucette was the answer to my prayers when I permitted my 16 year young daughter to study abroad for a year:-)
