I just dropped my 2nd born off at the park on his own to swim. It's all kosher, and he's quite responsible enough and all that, but still, it's a first. Happy swimming my little fish Dante! Behave yourself and come home right when you're supposed to. (And me, I'll get used to this independence - that I have encouraged and for which I've prepared him - someday... y'all can pray for me.)
Update a few hours later: Naturally, everything went fine and he's home safe and sound. I'm also not a basket case or anything, just very aware of this being a first and hoping (with reason to hope) that it goes ok, which it did.
