We are in the "non" Lent-celebrating group of Protestants I guess. But I liked this blog post and how it takes something we can touch and feel (ashes) and links it to a spiritual (and much less tangible) truth (our need to repent). Just as real, but harder to grasp. Thank you, Faith.

Thanks so much for sharing my little "Ashes" post! Love your blog. And whether or not you're celebrating Lent (um, we kind of forgot to mention to our kids that it was Ash Weds -- got swallowed up by Valentine's Day this year!), I hope that your family has a wonder pre-Easter 40 days :) Faith
