"The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches." (Mat 13:31-32)

Parades and Cookouts
Our town's annual Memorial Day Parade, held the Saturday morning prior to Memorial Day, is always one of our favorite family affairs. We do visit with many friends as well!. We enjoy the flags, the candy, the cars, the firetrucks and the bands. It's a terrific time for all.
In the evening, we lit the fire pit and cooked hot dogs and marshmallows over the flames (and burned up our scrap branches etc too - double duty dinner and yard clean up!). The kids enjoyed sparklers as well.
